Over the years, the EmPower project has worked with many gender and climate champions to challenge norms and transform communities. On the occasion of Human Rights Day, Re-envision Resilience: Journeys for Gender Equality and Climate Action will feature 9 such visionaries from Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Viet Nam in order to amplify their stories of change and hope in the context of a changing climate. This virtual photo exhibit aims to highlight the importance of meaningfully engaging men and women for gender-transformative and human rights-based climate action.
It also provides the visionaries with a platform to share their knowledge, experiences, and aspirations so that they can inspire others to start or continue their fight against gender inequality and climate change. The immersive virtual gallery experience will be complemented by a musical performance and an intimate conversation with a special guest who share the same vision of more just and resilient societies.
