As a follow-up to the “Consultation with Local and National Women-Focused Organisations on Accelerating the Transformation to Risk-Informed Development Under the Sendai Framework 2015 – 2030”, held in November 2019, and the “Virtual Listening Session with Local and National Women-Focused Organisations in the Asia-Pacific Action Plan 2021 – 2024 for the Implementation of the Sendai Framework”, held in November 2021, this listening session aims to support Women-Focused Organization (WFOs) and Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs) to continue to advocate for gender-transformative climate and humanitarian action and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), inform the progress in gender mandates resulting from various convenings in 2022 and critically reflect on the opportunities and gaps for advancing gender-transformative climate action post-CSW66.
